weichen 70598ae801 Merge the endpoint migration into the advanced backend line

Why: Dev main advanced the backend pin on the pre-migration lineage
while the endpoint migration landed on migrated main; combine both.

Evidence: host-verified; see Dev PR #706

Impact: integration commit; .gitmodules keeps migrated URLs.
