Why: The command bus returns the pre-decision card, so the inline card never saw the status change and stayed open.
Evidence: npx tsc -b passed; the live mock confirm card folded about 1.6s after cancel once the list was refetched.
Impact: confirm and cancel refetch the conversation cards; recheck does not.

Evidence: origin/main is aedcf50, which already contains the P4 contract commit.
