Merge authoritative main into the task branch f0904a45f7

Why: include the current integration baseline before verification.

Evidence: fetched origin/main=aa9f98d2e5b8ce36724f881752b0a95a353df987.

Impact: integrate upstream changes without rewriting task history.

Register the L1 cleanup summary card with task metadata 7755d64979

Why: task-sync/evidence tooling locates a task card by its branch metadata line; the summary-only card was invisible to the card lookup and its sync record could not be recorded.
Evidence: card header added (R0 f979170, standalone, accepting_requirements=false); task-sync rerun after this commit writes the sync receipt into the card.
Impact: Task card bookkeeping only.
