The approved r1 proposal and implementation plan now document how independent repositories use versioned Go/npm dependencies and explicit, on-demand source workspaces. They include R15 acceptance criteria for existing and future work branches. This is the documentation component of Dev PR #537.

Current candidate: 20ada84c69afb890bd4dc745fe8b891023006831, including the latest Documents main 2d35cd49c203820d24d7c38acead06d37793c1f1 and its #101 merge-queue trial record. The approved migration proposal and implementation plan are byte-identical to the earlier source 1de7d17110efaa5ed2ed30a44d415f28987f89f3, which Dev's components.lock.json still selects. The new Stage 8 remediation design records the user-approved direction for local Bubblewrap, a CI child container without Docker socket, rules-cache retry and safe generated-workspace finish. The written design 68c658a has been approved. The new six-task remediation implementation plan is pending human review and execution-method selection; no implementation or new-head acceptance is claimed. That consumed commit remains an ancestor of this PR branch.

SELF validation: git diff --check origin/main...HEAD and relative-link checks for the migration documents, review design and plan, index, and added trial record passed at this candidate. The earlier full R1–R15/U1–U8 and 120-link review is indexed in the Dev task card. This Documents repository has no CI workflow or required status context (GATE=N/A); Dev's final combination has its own current-head CI. The previous Dev HEAD received Stage 7 human approval but Stage 8 review found three Important gaps; the new remediation has no implementation or renewed Stage 7 verdict yet.

Preserve the consumed source commit through an ordinary merge. This PR does not publish a version, deploy a service, modify business data, rewrite history, or change branch protection.

Describe versioned dependencies and editable component workspaces 4a7b9293e9 
Why: Preserve independent repositories and a single Dev entry while reducing repeated submodule pins.

Evidence: SELF source inventory and documentation checks are recorded by Dev make evidence in the dependency-workspace task card. Migration checks remain NOT_RUN.

Impact: Add a proposed architecture and implementation sequence covering Go, frontend packages, RDM, build governance, and reusable standards. Active rules and runtime behavior are unchanged.

Document sandbox and workspace recovery review design 155df4956b 
Why: Specify the approved remediation direction for three Important findings from the independent dependency-migration review.

Clarify trusted CI executor image preparation 68c658a091 
Why: The read-only candidate container cannot install its own toolchain, so define a separate trusted image build step.
Evidence: SELF design consistency and whitespace checks passed; full CI feasibility remains part of implementation validation.
Impact: Preserve the no-socket, read-only candidate boundary without claiming tools can be installed after the container is locked down.

Why: Turn the approved written design into separately testable work that closes three Important Stage 8 findings before migration PRs can merge.
Evidence: SELF plan/spec coverage, interface, relative-link, placeholder, code-fence and whitespace checks passed; implementation and new-head gates remain NOT_RUN.
Impact: Add a six-task plan and record the design approval without changing Dev candidate code, CI or protected branches.

Why: The review design, execution plan, and index still described the approved work as awaiting review or unimplemented.

Evidence: SELF Dev task commits e0c8686 through 76ad40c and the isolated governance receipts are referenced without claiming current-head CI. git diff --check and 80 relative links passed.

Impact: Documents now distinguishes completed local remediation from pending platform GATE, renewed stage 7 acceptance, and independent stage 8 review.

Document dual gates for nested sandbox tests 1790cf8f28 
Why: Nested Bubblewrap tests fail inside the credential-isolated candidate boundary, and a green main gate alone would hide unrun product isolation checks.

Evidence: Dev 1ea93a5 make test SELF receipt; Backend and RDM test inventory; RDM CI workflow inspection; diff and relative-link checks.

Impact: Adds a pending written design and index entry only. No execution behavior or source lock changes.

Plan the nested sandbox dual-gate remediation c8cc92b701 
Why: The approved written amendment needs executable, reviewable steps for explicit test accounting and independent native sandbox replay.

Evidence: Current Dev and RDM source inspection, failed Dev make test receipt, local KVM/tool availability, official Go, Ubuntu and QEMU documentation, plan link and diff checks.

Impact: Documents only. No candidate execution, runner configuration, source lock or gate behavior changes.
